The Problem
The Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC sings to inspire equality and inclusion with musical performances and education promoting justice and dignity for all. Their show posters were developed in a one-off fashion, individually for each show. I was tasked to come up with a look and feel that could be applied to the variety of shows ranging from festive to reflective.
The Solution
Glitter! It was a versatile design tool that could be applied on every show poster. And the Lincoln Theater has never let the executive director shoot off a glitter cannon, so this was the next best thing.
Fun Fact
There’s still glitter ground into the carpet at the agency. And it will be there forever.
