The problem: Congress passed regulation meant to protect the environment by banning emission-altering aftermarket parts for auto racers and motorsports enthusiasts. However, this regulation overcorrected for the problem and banned parts that have no impact on the environment. This would have put aftermarket parts sellers out of business. The audience needs to be activated in order to affect change.
The solution: Show motorsports enthusiasts what they’re missing if they don’t act now.
Fun fact: After the pushback from our audience, Congress repealed the regulation. That’s right, I actually got the U.S. Congress to do something.
