Introducing The 2011 Melwood Opportunity
Convincing people to donate their used cars or trucks to Melwood, a charitable organization that empowers people with disabilities, turned into one of the most amazing campaigns I’ve ever seen. Some of the team went to the Utah Salt Flats to shoot the ADDY award-winning commercial. Meanwhile, I designed and developed a website that took cues from your typical luxury car websites. On a limited timeline, I put as many of the modern automotive website tropes in the site as I could. A slick sliding interface, a gallery, and even a tool that lets you customize the crappiness level of your used car.
Who says charity can’t be cool?
